Module Final and Self-Crit
This is my final piece for the module. I made two attempts. The first time was making a sphere shaped thing out of paper cups and tape which was a disaster and ended up getting squashed and ruined. And the above was my second and final which turned out alot better using the cups with a hot glue gun. I started off putting the cups together in weird ways and it turned out like this. I liked it alot but I could have put it together better and maybe put more cups so it wouldn't have looked empty in a couple spots. I really like how it hangs off with no ending at some parts in it!
Word as Image Final Presentation
These are my final word as image. The bottom one was the word missing and the top one is the contrast word image which was boring. It was contrasted by making it look fun!
Cardboard Final Photo and Self-Crit
This was my final product of the cardboard project. It is a sweet gum ball. I thought it was pretty cool although I think I could've done better. It was a little empty on top and the stem wasn't all that good so I could have definetly changed that up. Also the glue showed a little on some parts. But overall I think I did a good job!
Module progress report
This is what it looks like so far. I have no idea what its going to be or look like but we will see! I just know I want it to hang in the air!
word as image progress report
I just have been trying to think of words and cutting out newspaper. I'm getting there!

Human Dots
I currently cannot find the actual dot pictures. But anyways here are the human ones. We used several objects as you can see, such as basketballs, a plate, cd's, a ping pong ball, and of course humans to make out the dot pictures.
Cardboard Progress
now
in the making
I am making a sweet gum ball. I didn't really want to do this at first. I wanted to do a pine cone but this was the only option left. But as I studied it, I thought it would be pretty easy. So I made the above and am going to make the needles coming out of it. Then I am going to make a bottom and top to close it and a stem to finish it off. It's amazing what you could do with objects such as cardboard when you're put to the test!

Newspaper Process Narrative
With the newspaper, I started off stacking the newspaper kind of like how you stack the blocks in the game called Jenga. I wanted to stack them high but then I figured that would take forever. So I started to make strong pieces of newspaper to act as pillars which would hold it up and make it taller. I took too much time to make the pillars strong enough to hold the block but in the end it held up 1 and 3/4th inches.
